MISSION

 

DARTS Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports Dance Artists in the US. Our aim is to create a professional arts network, active mentorship and career developing opportunities for emerging dancers and choreographers. The Events facilitated by DARTS are designed to link Dance Artists to established college dance programs, professional dance companies and choreographers, both national and international.

Purpose

DARTS shall become a safe creative and educational space for any dancer or choreographer who desires to advance their career, broaden their artistic reach and connect to the local and international dance community.

  • Founder and Artistic Director

    Growing up in Moscow, Dasha trained in the heart of ballet training in Russia and received her Choreography degree from one of the oldest dance programs in Europe- Russian Academy of Theatre Arts. Her professional career included working across a multitude of dance styles on multiple continents.

  • Board Member

    Anacia Weiskittel is the Owner and Artistic Director and CEO of Degas Dance Studio in Los Angeles, CA and Degas International Dance Academy in Netherlands. She was also the founder and Artistic Director of ACFCLA Artist Community For Change Los Angeles non-profit arts organization. She has built her vision from the ground up, of a top professional training facility focusing on technique and artistry with real world professional experience and opportunities. She is a big picture visionary, and is excited to be on the Board of Directors and a part of the DARTS organization.

  • Contributor

    Anna was born and raised in Russia, where she earned her BS degree in Finance. Upon moving to the United States, she earned her MBA in San Diego, CA, with emphasis in Financial Management. Anna passionately believes in hard work and dedication, and Darts Foundation provides the perfect platform to help other hard working individuals pursue their dreams.

  • Media Coordinator

    Natalia Quintana-Reyna grew up in Los Angeles and trained in several dance styles from the age of eight. Through the years, dance became a vessel through which she could express herself and appreciate the creative process. She is currently pursuing a degree in Communication Studies at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, but her love for dance as an art form will continue as she assists DARTS Foundation with media and outreach.

  • Secretary

    Being born in Taiwan and growing up in the US has given me a dual-lens perspective when it comes to most things, especially in art and culture. Then having traveled to over 40 countries and spent years in the DanceSport world, these experiences have further expanded my appreciation and knowledge of the dance arts. As an entrepreneur for 15 years and an education background in business, my goal is to bring my passion for dance and organizational skills to share my love of the dance arts with others in this country and to help the next generation of new talents in America blossom to new heights.
